All players of all abilities welcome
The Aynho Bridge Club was established in 2022 by a handful of experienced players and complete beginners following a call for expressions of interest in the village Newsletter.
Since then, we have grown to over 20 members – mainly residents of Aynho but also some from other villages – of all ages and abilities.
We meet at the Pickled Ploughman in Adderbury at 7pm on the second and fourth Mondays of every month, confirming in advance via WhatsApp. We play contract bridge (as opposed to duplicate bridge).
We are a very social club, and we have been particularly successful at attracting beginners, for whom we run occasional coaching sessions. We also organise an end-of-year dinner, with some casual bridge preceding a three-course meal, which is very popular with members and their partners.
