Times are tough for some individuals and families in our local area. Through the Church as a point in the village we are collecting food, drink and other basic items and delivering them weekly to the Brackley Foodbank and to “Polly” in Banbury. Foodbanks are well known – Polly less so …. but she is an amazing woman who every evening provides food to the really needy in Banbury – those that fall through other safety nets and are very vulnerable. Please drop off any contributions you can give at the porch of the Church which is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Items for the foodbank are standard but for Polly they are more specific and look like this. |
